Reflection on the Season as a Tottenham Fan!

Great season! Best in a long time. As a Spurs fan you have to be happy with the direction of the club, especially the young talent and Pochettino's commitment to sign an extension.
As exciting as those things are there were a couple of concerns. One was Pochettino not being able to refocus his players after the Chelsea fiasco. They might have said the goal was CL and that Arsenal passing them was not a concern and to the team, that might have been true, but to the fans this is a big deal. Congrats to Arsenal for hanging tough at the end and once again celebrate their awful holiday. Pained me to say that!
Hopefully next season.
Second, they have got to find depth at midfield. Once Dembélé and Alli were out you could see a large drop off in play. If they want to compete in the CL they will have to fix that need.
Third, they have to grow up. They cannot allow what happened at the end of this season to happen again. I like the aggressive approach to the game but there comes a point where you have to channel that aggression and not lose control on the pitch.
If you told me Spurs would be in the CL at the beginning of the season I would have been thrilled and while I am quite happy with the finish, I can't help but be a little disappointed in the way the season ended. Very excited about the direction of the club and the next few years should be great ones for Spurs fans.

I didn't realize how damn annoying Tottenham fans were until this season, because I don't know any Spurs fans. It makes me really hope that they never win shite.

Great season. Disappointing ending that didn't actually matter.

Woulda been nice to finish above Arsenal, but really doesn't matter. I'm actually a little happy it happened. Now that they see their season as a success, hopefully they'll keep their shite team intact while Spurs continues to ascend.
At the beginning of the season, 5th place was most probable, 4th if things fell our way. Being that last title challenger standing is definitely a success in my mind.
Young guys mailed it in after the league was out of reach. Hopefully they learn from it.

This is just the natural order of things. Arsenal fans don't consider this season a success at all. LCFC lost three times, twice to Arsenal. Anything less than the title is a big disappointment.

Not sure why dumbass arsenal fans are acting like giddy schoolgirls. Leicester beat them too and if arsenal wants to act like they accomplished something then go right ahead. The fact that barely finishing above Spurs is somehow rewarding to them shows how scared they are of Spurs success.
Tottenham is obviously the future and arsenal knows Spurs are moving in the better direction. arsenal have to celebrate now because it's obvious who will be the better squad in the next few seasons.
