I saw a very interesting point raised...if Man Utd submitted in time but RM was late, does it matter? The Spanish window closed Monday so the assumption is DDG had to be done by then. The EPL closes Tuesday so Navas has to be done by Tuesday, not Monday. If it was the Navas contract which was sent at 12:01 (or however past the deadline), the transfers should still go through as each was completed within the respective window. Or so goes the argument supposedly raised by Man Utd.

I apologize for being too lazy to backtrack for link.

Either way, its been a total shitfest.

All I know is this has been a complete frick fest. Is it usually this backwards in transfers?

Do these clubs enjoy fricking with each other?

It's totally different than America sports leagues and I really can't get enough.

If that happens I will give credit where credit is due, as always. I did nothing but to Barca last year.

But if PSG wins, I'm sure most of this board will hem and haw and make excuses as per usual.

Madrid won in 2013-2014. That's pretty recent, but then again, you were a Newcastle fan at that point, so you probably had no knowledge of European competition.

He'll get over it. By all accounts, he's the type of person who doesn't deserve to be treated the way he was treated.

Sound about right to me.

Look both sides are probably lying but I'd challenge anyone to prove what he is saying is wrong.

We know that ManU lied as well....hell they said that was the first bid they got from Real for De Gea.....I mean to say something that egregiously false is basically calling everyone listening to you stupid.

Is there proof of an official bid from RM prior to then? I know it is unquestioned that the two negotiated over price for a period of months, but did RM actually table a bid before then?

Disclaimer: I don't know the answer. This is a serious question.

that is rich. and how do you even know if that was the first formal bid or not?

perez is upset because he did not get his way. he's used to getting his way. especially when it comes to man utd. who knows what really happened and honestly, we never will know the real story.

"we have proof but don't want to make it public" - get out of here with that shite.

So is it possible to even start negotiations without saying I will give you "this" for "this"...in anything really? The formality of the tabled bid is irrelevant....the fact is that bids were offered.
