Can we just make this a joint thread about Mourinho as well. Whatever Marca.com is, they are reporting June 2nd for announcement. Stan Collymore also announced it.

Nah, it's all I can do to try and figure out what English media is trustworthy. But Spain as well?

I don't know how trustworthy they are, but I am nearly certain they're kind of like the Spanish ESPN in terms of scale.

Weird hire to me, but I hope he does well. Maybe he can convince Cavani to head to Anfield?

I thought the same thing, but at least he will have passionate fans that will embrace him... similar to LFC.

I just seems that team was built to play with a back 3... it will be interesting to see his tactical changes... if he goes to his favored 4-2-3-1 (gotta imagine he does)... I have a feeling he will have a lot of money to play with after the Cavani sale..

We should have been 10 points clear of Arsenal and Spurs, easy.

Dont get me wrong, you have a lot of nice young talent... a lot of teams would love to have... but Hazard and Oscar are young and while difference makers, not game in and game out...

No solid DM or Striker...

Not talented enough to do what Randy was suggesting and a Mata away from being average...

Outside of probably Man City we have the most talented team in the League. Depth is definitely an issue which makes Rafa's selfish and retarded pursuit of Europa all the more maddening.

Rafa's league results were crap and he lost every real trophy we were up for. We went from solid contenders in the league to almost twenty points out in like two months and from like 10 points ahead of Arsenal and Spurs to a dog fight that came down to the final week of the season.

I think Man U have more talent, so all things considered, you finished about where you should...

I think the 2 Manchester teams are a good bit ahead of the pack...

Anyway, it doesnt matter now... you got CL and a trophy...

I'm looking forward to following Napoli the next couple of years... I hope they can hold on to Cavani, but I dont think they will...

rafa did better than city in the league after his hiring and barely worse than arsenal who had a fairly ridiculous point haul over the last stretch of the season. lost in the semis of the FA Cup and won a fairly comparable trophy in the Europa. I would consider those two competitions "real trophies." even if you don't, he only didn't win one real trophy you had a shot of winning.
