Why is it that whenever Mexico loses it's cause they got screwed somehow and it's never so and so was a better team and we didn't play well?

You fricking lost man. You went up 1-0 and try to run out of the stadium with the win and you couldn't cause the Dutch were persistent in their attack and in my opinion Sneijder's goal was inevitable.

Memo wasn't going to be able to carry them much further anyway.

It also helped that the Mexican goal was in the shade the second half. The Dutch needed that after the first half.

The Dutch were the better team to me after the Mexican goal. You can argue Mexico was better in the first half but I'd say they were about even.

I don't think the Dutch stole it cause their first goal was a result of persistent attacking and working hard to break down the Mexican defense. The pk was on Marquez for making a stupid foul.

And Robben prison raped the left side of the Mexican defense in the 2nd half.

Robben is on steroids. Seriously.

That was so great. We watched the last 10 minutes or so in a crowd of Mexicans at an indoor soccer facility. They were all telling Marquez to get fricked.

My sons team (that I coach) played a team called 'Mexico' right after, and we beat them 6-0. You could tell the kids and fans were so deflated.

To rub it in, I had our team switch to their orange jerseys right before kick off (instead of gray, Mexico was wearing black).

All around great day so far.

i'm glad mexico lost but jesus h christ. why does soccer have the biggest pussies of any professional sport (basketball a close second)?

There is hope for some Mexican-Americans though. Some in the crowd were wearing US jerseys, and some in the crowd even celebrated when the Dutch took the lead. That was actually cool to see.
