Purchasing EPL match tickets … help needed

I will be in London next week. I’d love to attend the Tottenham - Manchester United match while I’m there.
Does anyone here have first hand experience or knowledge on best way to buy resale tickets? Not sure if I should be asking this board vs the Travel board.
I was reading online it’s potentially illegal for ticket owners to resell through third party sites.
Is there an official England style ticket site (like a Stubhub and SeatGeek)? Or what are my other options?
Any help is appreciated.
TIA

Go to the teams website and see which websites they are partnered with officially and or become a member. You can also go to Spurs website and they'll have a ticket exchange you'll just need to become a member to gain access.

Thanks for the quick reply. This is exactly the info I was looking for.
I read you could join and become a member but I just want to buy a random single game ticket that I’m sure is officially sold out. I’m glad to see that this will grant access to a ticket exchange.
Thanks

StubHub.ie is what I used. Technically they aren’t supposed to sell for more than face or to non members but I bought a ticket last month and didn’t have any issues

Cool. Did you have an actual in hand printed ticket? Or was it electronic ticket or through the app?
I read those could potentially be declined at the gate. Curious what you had…

That’s gonna be a hard one to get tickets for bruv
We just needs sticky thread for this topic
The resale market in Europe is much different
Tickets are not supposed to go for more than FV and scalping or touting what they say in England is illegal
Stay clear of almost all secondary market sites
I’m pretty sure Spurs is still partners with StubHub but you still need a membership to the club for each ticket. That’s what the used for the their ticket exchange for a couple years.
Also paper tickets are very rare. A majority of tickets are on membership cards. I wouldn’t trust and paper ticket or print out unless it came directly from the club ticket office.

Just go outside the stadium and hold up some fingers, come back with the results. Good luck.

Was sent a screenshot of the ticket with a QR code. Scanned it like normal at the gate and had no issues whatsoever

Thanks for all the feedback, folks.
There’s gotta be some for sale in a stadium that big on a Thursday night, you’d think. Right? :fingerscrossed:

You can definitely get tickets, if you're willing to pay the price.

I uses P1 travel and paid out of the arse for my Chelsea tickets. Had to get a hospitality package but it included buffet and open bar.

I had to get a hospitality package for a Liverpool match at Anfield. Not worth it, outside of the ticket itself.
ETA: The package was directly through the club, not a third party.

Thanks for this … I looked them and they’re official partners with Tottenham. Expensive but they have some great tickets and packages (for a price of course). This is probably the route I’m going to go.
You didn’t have to buy a club membership, did you?

No club membership required.

Thanks again. I just booked it and got confirmation with P1 Travel.
I had to formally attest that I was not a Manchester United fan

Don't wear anything that looks like Man U's away kit colors. Anfield threatened us with denial of admission. I don't know the level to which it's enforced there.
