Why would you even do something so stupid

Tickets clearly say no away supporters in the home end and you can get ejected for cheering for the away team

Well, I am ultra paranoid. Never been personally to any Football match (outside of eight and nine year olds, anywhere). Is this the right shade of red? Their away colors are black, can I bring a black raincoat? The entire purpose of my trip was Anfield and one other item.

I get what you're saying, but "red" doesn't mean red to everyone, and given English police combined with it being Liverpool, I figured that if anything was in doubt, I was going to lose the argument, and my trip would be wasted. When dealing with foreign authorities of any sort, from any country, I learned long ago to STFU, they will always win, just say, "I understand" and back away. I was staying in Manchester, not that I could have possibly made it back going back to a hotel to change even if I was in Liverpool.

I’m trying to get there for a fall match. How much were the tickets and how much combined.

We overpaid by a lot haha… tickets prices started at $139 £ per ticket through P1 travel. Seems like a fair price compared to NFL ticket prices, and I’m sure Manchester United visiting made it higher than normal.

That said, I paid ‘considerably’ more given the seat location and hospitality area on the sky deck (over 2x that price). Free food and drinks to grab. We got to show up early and stay late after the match to avoid crowds. They have the beers pre-poured and ready to grab at halftime. And they continue food and drink service for an hour postmatch.

Crowd was so angry in the first half and screaming at their players and the ref. Guy near me kept calling them all “you fricking muppets!”

Manchester United crowd corner was super impressive and chanted and sang throughout the match. They were louder than rest of the stadium. Up 2-0 at half.

Tottenham crowd revived in second half when team came back and leveled it at 2-2.

First premier league match in attendance. Great experience.
