The Premier League is arguably the best league in the world, and England sucks. We can't just expect to have a great National team because we have a great league.
Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, and more have tons of players playing in elite leagues around the world. That's what the United States needs right now.

Michael Bradley and Clint Dempsey coming back because they couldn't get playing time overseas is not bigger than Landon Donovan opting to stay when he was in his prime (2005-2010).

Thats fine but when push comes to shove. The best leagues will be in Europe along with the best players. For American talent to get better it needs to be over here starting from the youth set up. That means our kids need to be scouted around 10-12 at least even though some of these euros are getting picked up at 6.
Lots of these top world players have a personal connection to these clubs since childhood either as a local kid growing up as a fan getting in their youth set up or someone bringing them in. Its just something we will never have in the American sports franchise model.
Ive been watching MLS since day one so any improvement is exciting.

Bring in Bradley, bring in Jones, bring in Gooch.
I already watch a ton of MLS and would love for talented Americans to be making the same money here that they can overseas.
You really want to see soccer "pop" here? Wait until kids (and to a lesser extent - parents) figure out that little Johnny Athlete can make "baller bucks" playing soccer without having to move to Italy, England or Russia to do it.

lol the DP's in MLS still make what mid tier club money for an average player. 3 million pounds and big bucks in europe for these guys.

you were a kid what 5-10 years ago? 35k is the floor. Also my friend that plays for SKC gets 35k per year but he made a lot more than that last season... also everyone on SKC got a 12k bonus last season for winning the Cup (not sure if that was an MLS thing or SKC thing though) so there are opportunities to make more than the 35k.
Dude, you are trying to use logic to people who don't want to hear logic.

It is simply astounding how stupid you are.

If you think Bradley and Dempsey can't get playing time overseas then you are astoundingly stupid

Well on the flip side Italy, Spain, and Germany have great national team with a lot of guys that play in their domestic leagues.

Please go back and show me where I said that.
They weren't getting playing time at their clubs and so they had to settle for the MLS.

well that also goes hand in hand with that countries style of play
Spain is basically Barca
Germany is Bayern and friends
and Italy well plays we all know our favorite brand of football internationally and in their league.

And plus, the sole reason the MLS was created and sustained was because of US Soccer...

I wish I could settle for $7 million a year.

Do you think they had no other options in Europe?
If so, then how did they "settle" for MLS?

You keep beating this horse.
I'll ask you this question for a fifth time and maybe, just maybe, you won't be as dense this time around. Do Bradley and Dempsey make a move to the MLS if they are playing regularly at Roma and Tottenham?

he is a different case esp bc he was bought on the cheap so of course his wages wont be as high.

I'm sure they did, but they chose comfort over challenging themselves against better competition.

See above.
