who even are you
how is his game going to evolve more playing in a league which is on par with League One and the Bundesliga 2.

Exactly the point. He doesn't have to play in the MLS. But he a chosen too. Which says a lot about the MLS that a lot of people don't want to believe
That's fine. But it seems like some people around here are making it sound like U.S. players have some sort of unwritten duty to help the MLS even if it means sacrificing their opportunity to play in a different league.

You have absolutely no grasp on this situation at all, do you?

I was referring to the growth of soccer in the states. MLS has money. Nobody grew up wanting to play soccer because they saw no Americans getting paid to. Only football and baseball.
Now American soccer players are getting paid IN THE STATES. And the young kids see that. And can inspire to be soccer players now.

Poor Bradley has no choice and has been held hostage to play in MLS. I'm sorry you're right

That's just a huge lie.
Outside of the DP's, there are a lot of players that are making next to nothing.

This thing called youth academies. Ours are ok but not on par with Europe. If we want technical players to take US Soccer to the next level they need to be in overseas youth set ups. Kid over here are leaps and bounds better than their American counterparts.

i don't think soccer will ever surpass football in this country, but 50-60 years ago, few, if any, would have suggested baseball would be dwarfed by football. it's not impossible, but very unlikely. i do think football will diminish. as more and more studies come out on the effects of football on the brain (even at the pee wee level going forward), i think american football will drop off over the next few decades. that said, baseball and basketball are just as primed, if not more so, to take some of the market share. soccer will continue to grow though.
the MLS certainly needs to improve players. as i questioned early, not really sure luring a hometown (erm, country) player with a sweetheart deal, helps the MLS all that much.

There will be a new CBA next year and salaries will definitely be going up
