Any update on Keaton Parks? Has he stagnated?

Nagbe and Lletget have USMNT experience on that side as well.

And Nagbe definitely isn't a winger.

Can't get off the bench for NYCFC.

He just isn't that good. You could probably make a case for him making the list over Ramirez, but then you're just splitting hairs over who you'd rather have as the #5 or #6 striker.

What makes you think he's not good? For someone who really pushes the "play your kids" angle I think taking him over the much older Ramirez makes complete sense. Ramirez also scores less goals in a worse league than Nova.

This is pretty much exactly how I expect us to start the tournament.

The little bit I've watched him play. Decent poacher. Just ok ball skills. Not much speed. Reading seems to want nothing to do with him. Sarachan called him into camps yet didn't like him enough to play him. Gregg decided not to put him on a 40-man list.

Just realized Gutman is on there. We're still in "some frick" territory for LB when we have USL guys getting on prelim rosters for A-team tournament.

Well, he was planning on being at Celtic, but couldn't get a work permit. They may have put him on the list just to help his appeal go through.

Jonathan Gonzalez did not make the Mexico roster. Just an FYI for anyone still gnashing their teeth over that decision.

Hope efrain alvarez is paying attention.

He seems to have his own issues that he needs to pay attention to.

So which of these guys will be still playing at similar level for next WC Qualifying? All but Bradley?

I think Ramirez is only on the list for insurance. It would be much easier to bring in Ramirez at the last minute from LA than it would be to bring in Novakovich from Europe.

Maybe Altidore, who will be in his early 30s.

That'll probably be his only shot to get consistent minutes with the USMNT though because he is a ways down on the depth chart for central and attacking mids.

Boyd just scored. Might be the most inform scoring option on the 40 man roster. Interesting to steal him from the Kiwis. Six goals and 4 assists in just 14 games.

You still put stock into what Sarachan thinks?

Also Reading has stated they are refusing to sell him and wouldn’t let his Eredivisie team take him back. All signs point to reading wanting to play him next season, which means they rate him. Also he is faster than you’re giving him credit for.

I don't think he's that far down the depth chart. I think he's really no worse than #2 or #3 at McKennie's position.
