He needs a UK work permit to play for Man City. He currently doesn't qualify for one. He needs to play/start a certain percentage of USMNT matches to get one. If he can't get one, he'll have to go back out on loan. I think that's the gist of it, I'm not sure on all of the specifics.

Friendlies may or may not count, so starting as many Gold Cup matches as possible is pretty important.

I think you have to take Nagbe over Roldan.

I like that with an 11 of:

Steffen
Adams-Miazga-Zimmerman-Robinson/Ream
Bradley
Arriola/Boyd-Pulisic-McKennie-Lletget/Nagbe
Altidore

4-1-4-1?
Does Gregg run that?

You can drop Weston back do DM and make it a 4-2-3-1. I thought that was what he used in the friendlies, but I could be wrong.

Lozano is on list but Jesus Corona (Tecatito) is not.

Season ended early with a knee injury. Definitely a doubt for the gold cup

Right now Boyd absolutely makes the roster.

We used some variation of a 4-1-4-1/4-1-2-3/etc.

Basically a back 4, 1 DM, a typical 8, a 10, 2 wingers, 1 striker.

More accurately, it's a 4-4-1-1/4-4-2 on defense, and a 3-2-2-3/3-2-2-2-1/3-2-4-1 in attack.

It would all depend on ‘hard’ or ‘soft’ and the implications could be damaging for foreign players, but in an ideal world it would require teams to have 12-14 players registered for the league that are British citizens. Players that gain citizenship while there also can count in this number. The rest of the registered players can be from anywhere and are granted work permits automatically.

Now of course that would require the player to be a first-team caliber player which Steffen would be considered. Most expect him to be the second choice keeper at city should he ever gain a work permit.

I never knew the outcomes until football manager haddcoded it into its game along with all of the possible outcomes which are randomized from save to save.

Like I said, it could be bad for foreign players but a ‘soft’ brexit could benefit foreign players who are ready to play ASAP regardless of their national team appearances.

Who gets the armband for the tournament?

My money is on Jozy.

Probably Jozy. I would give my personal vote to Adams but I think there’s utility in naming a captain with major tournament experience.

I think the logical choice would still be Bradley, but too many people would lose their fricking minds. Could be Steffen, Pulisic, Adams, or McKennie.

My vote would be Adams.

My thoughts as well, plus he's someone that, assuming he's healthy, will be a focal point this cycle which gives him the edge over Bradley.

Will he stay healthy for an entire tournament?
