No way Weah is not a starter. Turner will be a backup at Arsenal. Steffan at Middlesburg or Horvath at Luton will be starters. One of them will most likely be between the sticks. Horvath just had an awesome game vs Union Berlin today.

I'd put Aaronson over Musah and Weah over Ferrera.

I’m a big Horvath fan.

Both Tim and Gregg say Tim’s not playing striker.

Wait until Dike starts bagging goals. If healthy he is the prototypical striker for this team with all the creativity around him. He is a big, strong target forward who will feast with Pulisic, Reyna, Aaronson, Weah, Musah, Weston, Dest, and even LDLT feeding him.

Maybe so, but Weah has been our best player for the past year.

Tom Bogert: Gianluca Busio and Venezia are closing in on a contract extension to keep the American midfielder at the club, I'm told. New deal gets rid of current relegation release clause, extends future.

Busio, 20, made 29 Serie A apps last season. Will

Against better sides, I love what a Reyna and Musah midfield can look like in both possession and attack. Those guys are calm under pressure. They are young but we haven’t had that technical ability on the midfield.

Speculation on the #9 spot is practically useless at the moment…we all know it’s going to be the hot hand out of a group of 5-6 guys.

I’m still blown away that we have a $30M transfer, premier league player that is likely on our bench for the World Cup. If we do need to bring BA or Weah off the bench, then they have to be two of the more dynamic subs in the tournament.

Middlesbrough has made an offer of around 3 million for Hoppe. Sunderland is also said to be interested. According to Tom Bogert.

I wish Hoppe had been given a fair chance at Mallorca but he never was. According to some dude on Reddit he would be a most game starter at Middlesbrough which is exactly what he needs now.

I found it odd that after he was one of our more dangerous attacking players in the Nations League and Gold Cup in the summer of 2021 that he never got much of a look after that

Gioacchini got a brief debut last night for Orlando City, coming in at around the 80th minute. Took him all of 3 minutes to get a yellow card, the ultimate welcome to MLS.

He has been injured a bit and also basically never played. Didn’t have a goal at all last year. Can’t really call that guy in.

I don’t think he got called in at all. He was injured around December and reports were he was struggling to adapt culturally to Mallorca.

It's funny because if he plays well in Liga MX, he goes to the World Cup.

Busio extends his contract with Veniza. He had opportunities to move elsewhere because of relegation but made the decision to stay and fight for promotion.
