Apparently Luca de La Torre has transferred to Celta Vigo

I saw an article in Spanish that said he was brought in as competition for the starters/a bench piece and is not expected to be a starter. CV runs a 4-4-2 apparently and that doesn’t really suit him as well as a 4-3-3.

He'll be playing under Chacho Caudet. He led my team Racing to a title when we were not the most talented team in Argentina. He plays 2 up top but I wouldn't call it a true 4-4-2. The fullbacks cover most of the width in his system. LDLT better be ready to run as his system requires non stop pressing starting with the striker. He really wants his players to take people on as well.

Do you think he will be a good fit for the system?

that actually sounds kinda perfect for him. LDLT has some serious pit bull in his plums
eta-at least when he plays for his country

I think so. His system requires work rate, stamina, skill, vision and determination. I think LDLT has a lot of those traits.

From Romano:
Celta Vigo are set to sign USMNT midfielder Luca de la Torre. Full agreement in place, Luis Campos wanted him as potential future star. Fee will be around $2m, as per
@marca
Cool to see the coach at least rates him highly.

Campos is a pretty well know Sporting Director. He is known for spotting talent. Vigo have limited funds so $2 million isn't chump change to them.

Yeah, he was a good player. He was playing Pablo Aimar, Saviola, etc

He was a beast on fifa 2005.

I quit FIFA in 01. Once I order Championship Manager 01/02 from England I gave it up. Plus they couldn't top FIFA98 "Road to the World Cup"

Latest rumor for Haji Wright is Galatasaray.
