Bradley and Altidore should 100% be starting on our A team still.

Love that trapp is supposed to be a good passer but he's not a good passer of the ball

I have no faith in Trapp.

No. We wanted someone better than Bradley because he's just not that good. That doesn't mean he's not the best we have at that position. Right now, he is. But yeah, we are such dumbasses for expecting our players to be better than average at their positions.

Find me a game where we lost because of Bradley... I'll wait.

Didn't lose but tied Portugal in 2014 WC because of a poor touch and turnover. LINK He also couldn't put away a goal from the 6 yard line with no keeper and a defender just standing in the middle. LINK

He's our best, but it sucks that he is.

If this were truly the case, you would hate every USMNT player this past cycle not named Pulisic. But the hate for Bradley on this board was well beyond that.

I don't hate any of our players. But yes, I am not super pleased with the talent level of our A-team. I see some potential in the youth but they still haven't shown that they can all play together well and get big wins.

I think other players get plenty of hate on here, moreso than Bradley. Zhardes comes to mind, as well as Tim Chandler years back. Nobody really defends the hate there, but you and a few others white knight so hard for Bradley that you think he's the most hated USMNT player ever. He's not.

Bradley has had a large group of haters for the past 12 years.

I don't think people were hating on Bradley before he was even on the team.

But he has been a starter for a long time, and the past 5 years there have been a lot of changes in the lineup except for him. So of course he's going to get more criticism than other players who aren't in the mix as much as he is.

Neither the aged Bradley nor Trapp cut it. If this is the best we have, no wonder the USMNT results over the past several years. Of course, this is just part of our problems.

Bradley’s first caps were in the lead up to the 2006 World Cup. They continued under his dad. There were false, ridiculous nepotism claims that follows him for years. Those claims started in 2007.

As a sub. You think people were hating on him then? I didn't even know who he was until around 2010 WC when he was more of a regular starter.

This would have happened to any player who's dad was the head coach. That's pretty much unavoidable. I've never felt that way toward him.

The hate started as early as he started getting call-ups from his dad.

He became a regular starter at the 2007 Gold Cup.

I’d ask when the knighting started but frankly I’m more concerned about when it will end.

Then why even mention 2006? Like I said, just about any player outside of the next Messi would get the same treatment if his dad was the coach. Not saying he deserved it for that reason at all.

It’s irrelevant to the discussion. You’re splitting of hairs is comical.

His first caps were before his dad was hired. You mentioned first caps.

Doesn’t really matter though. This isn’t a USMNT history buff dick measuring contest.
