It will. To melt down is in the very nature of a message board. Besides after seeing Mexico put on a clinic the other night if we don't follow suite there will be panic. I may be in the middle of it if Bob does what I think he will do and start Bornstein, Gooch and Jones with the end result being a defensive lapse followed by a goal. I will probably bang my head through a glass window at that point.

We are favorites, and rightly so.

We have more than enough talent to control the game and dominate possession, but that will definitely leave us susceptible to counter attacks and Canada's front line has enough talent to make us pay.

an honest prediction for this game would be 3-1, USA.

What's really disappointing about all of this, and I know you are all aware of this too, is Holden's absence. He has the talent to completely change the dynamic of this team.

He's the only experienced LB. Therefore he is guaranteed minutes.

I think it has less to do with experience and more to do with his dominant foot.

Which is full on retard by the way.

I'd be fine with

Agudelo Jozy

Dempsey Edu Bradley Donovan

Bornstein Boca Goodson Cherundolo

Timmy

I wasn't exactly thrilled with Edu, but I don't want to see Jones. Awful performance against Spain.

Canada's version of bacon isn't really bacon.

That's probably the lineup we'll see.

I like Edu all right, but I don't see the point of playing him and Bradley together in this game. Replace Edu with Adu.

Boca to Bradley to Adu to Dempsey to Adu to Landon to Jozy = goal.

It's pretty simple really.

Everyone was awful against Spain, so I'm not really holding that game against any one player.

So, I'm still in the Jones camp.

He's just flat out better than Edu at this time. He's proven it with his club play more so than his national team play.

I think Bob put him in bad situations against both Argentina and Spain.

Doubt it. Sweatpants will go with Gooch over Goodson.

So, your plan is to stick a guy who defends like a traffic cone smack in the middle of the field?

That seems like a fool proof plan.

Nobody said he'd be smack in the middle of the field.
My plan is to use 4 defenders plus Bradley to do the majority of the defending while we score 4 goals.
But, more realistically, I'd probably use 1 striker and add Jones to the midfield.
