I'd much rather play Madrid than Jupp.

Convinced that it’s going to be Liverpool Roma.

Liverpool just thrashed the favorites. It’s time to stop acting like they’re lucky to still be here. It’s the best front 3 in Europe. Fight me if you disagree

Seriously though, can't blame referees. All that possession and not many s.o.g is retarded. Fair play to Liverpool and Klopp. Great two legs. Proud to be a blue and happy for the dipper fans I know. frick Liverpool though.

Bandwagon fans already turning on Pep and the club. See ya haters and losers. Premier League Champions and Stupid Cup Champions. 1.5 trophies this year ain't the worst thing ever.

Europe is next.

Love this soccer board. Hate you SCH, but love you.

Just finished watching the game. Poor City, spends a trillion on players and still no European glory. I would love for Kun to tell Pep to frick off and leave. Unfortunately for him not many teams can afford his wages. Maybe United will buy him and Jose will play him as a holding mid, jajajajaja

In what universe is a club with no history or pedigree in Europe going to be favored to win it.

Madrid, Barca, Bayern, Juve would all be favorites over City.

In a universe where history or pedigree in Europe doesn't matter? (because it doesn't matter)

Mmmmmmm

Yea since PSG and City have been so successful in Europe

Pedigree definitely is important for clubs winning big games

City nor PSG were favorites

Um yes

The big club mentality definitely plays a part in the belief and fans have going into big games.

The only thing that matters is who you put on the field and who you have giving directions. A lot of those guys for Man City have had success in the World Cup, Euros, etc. They aren't phased by being on this stage. The fans aren't the reason why they were just knocked out. Something that happened in 1998 isn't going to affect what happens in April 2018. If you name a team the favorites because the have won Champions League 12 times in the past, then you're just being lazy.

Are you saying the atmosphere at Anfield wasn’t a factor?

Yeah, I'll say it had little to do with it. Man City was able to possess the ball quite a bit, but couldn't really break down our defense, and we were able to score on some counters. Pretty much the same thing happened, but to a greater extent, yesterday.

Has Real Madrid played anyone in CL this year that's really better than them?
