That's really not that significant. Doesn't he make 6 figures or damn near close to it per week in wages?

i said it before we even got him he wouldn't be worth the risk..... i know we were in a bad spot at striker at the time, but i was adamant that i didn't want him.... especially for the price....

It will be pretty empty because its a work day. I'll be leaving work to get there at 1:30 and I'm about 30 minutes away, if that gives you an idea.

Any thoughts on the Illamerendi rumors? I don't know much about him, but it looks like Lucas will be shown the door. Sounds like it could be a good move.

Seen connections between us and him throughout the window. Lucas obviously is at odds with Rodgers, so I think it would be mutually beneficial. Illamerendi (sp?) is a good player, so I would be fine with that. Hopefully sooner than later.

He's definitely not a like for like player as Lucas as he's more of a Xabi, just not at his level. He's an upgrade over Joe Allen. I just don't understand getting rid of your only DM...

Except that we have needed him and he's performed each of the last three seasons.
I am ok with Lucas going - but joe "glass" Allen and a young CAn should not necessarily be our only defensive options in midfield.
I think firmino has to start today and go at least '60. If there is any push to have him start against arsenal he needs a run through in this game.
I think Gomez starts today to get experience but this is normally the type of game I might rather see Moreno in.
Looking forward to seeing some better link up with bentenke today.

i think he gives you options... If he comes, maybe BR sees him in the role Stevie held in our title run... I think he has a skill set that we currently don't have... a DLP

The only lineup change I would make from last week is to start Firmino over Lallana. Keep everything else the same.
