Apparently we have the most clean sheets in 2015 - though west brom could tie us today.
Pretty good for a shaky defense...
I think lallana can be very good. But he will not be at his best when -
-He's helping cover for an 18 year old defender
- he gets zero overlapping or offensive runs from the LB behind him
- and he's playing a very physical team.
Id give him a pass for this game. And I think he will be a very important member of the squad rotation. Cou can't play 50 matches.

I actually like it. Mondays are my slow days at the office, so it will give me an opportunity to watch the match, and this time no kiddos to draw me away every few minutes haha

I used to love monday games, because my schedule had me off on Mondays... Now I work, but I should still be able to watch

This is probably a dumb question but figured I'd rather get input from LFC brethren before general soccer fans.
With the new Fox deal that will start showing way more Bundesliga this year, I'm real interested in finding a team to root for. By no means will it equal how much I follow/love Liverpool but I figured it's pretty harmless since it's a different league and I've always admired German soccer from the national team to the ransom Bundesliga games I've watched in the past
So my question I guess would be: is there any team that resembles LFC? I know obviously now stacked Bayern is. Seems like the best to choose from would be the next level of competitive teams that will likely be shown a lot more such as Dortmund, Leverkusen, Monchengladboch, Schalke, and Wolfsburg
Anyways, sorry if that makes no sense but appreciate any input given

Dortmund is very fun to watch, attacking style. Some people would say they compare to LFC as a club. If I'm not mistaken, gladbach is actually our sister club of sorts, has LFC stuff at their grounds, etc so either of those 2 could be good choices.

I did some additional looking/research and found that we do in fact have a pretty awesome bond with MG. This TIA article goes into some detail, but apparently MG made a classy gesture by donating to the Hillsborough families, and each team usually has a set of fans that travel to the others ground for a visit every year. Pretty cool

Go with Gladbach. I've been following them for the last 2 years. They qualified for CL this year.

Done
If anyone else is interested in hopping on board, their first game is Saturday at 11:30 vs Dortmund on FS2
Just to broaden the conversation a bit.....what other clubs/leagues do you guys root for? I've always liked Roma in Serie A. And am from Houston/interned with the Dynamo so they're my MLS club

I'm a SKC fan until Atlanta starts in 2017. I really don't care at all about any league besides MLS, EPL, and Bundesliga. I REALLY couldn't care less about La Liga.

Ditto for me. Give me EPL, MLS, Bundesliga, and USMNT. I'm happy as a clam. The rest of the leagues, meh

See, I just can't watch and focus on the match the way I would if I was watching normally. So I usually record Monday matches, and watch when I get home. So then I have to turn off my phone, so it doesn't accidentally get spoiled.

Well it looks like Mario is off. Really was hoping we would have somehow changed him. Nope. Still was worth the risk at 16M IMO.

Hearing some of the stories about Balo at melwood, it's clear why he's practicing away from the squad right now.
I don't know if he was worth the risk but I guess we didn't have much choice last year.
Need to get his wages off the books though.

Will watch. I like watching Dortmund but pull for Gladbach in the bundesliga. Fabian Johnson being the main reason

Balo is a child
And not a precocious one at that.
Get 8M and his wages off the books, thats not too shabby.

To where?
Just read Italy.
But also just read he gets a 6 figure bonus for making it past the transfer window.
Really hope we can off load him.
