Played a good half. A little sloppy with the ball. Really well organized defensively only to completely collapse in typical fashion

All things considered, I'm not too disappointed... I'll cut Moreno some slack since its his first match, but he's got to attack that clearance with more urgency...

No slack from me. Really poor on a routine play.

OK, bring on Enrique!
(i'm kidding)
edit: he's not even on the bench

I thought we played well outside of the ridculously stupid goal given up. Which, honestly just doesn't surprise me anymore. It's almost a curse at this point

I just posted this in the match thread but ill post it here.
Gary Neville just broke down the City goal. That was also Lovern's fault for not closing the space soon enough and by the time he did Silva had already played the ball.

Stevie was part to blame, as well..
bottom line though, if Moreno clears, it's 0-0

Yea he left Silva drift
but no reason both CB's are so far away from the ball in that sequence.

Yep, I don't know what the frick he's doing today but he's having a howler

Can we not get a fricking shot on goal?
Posted on 8/25/14 at 3:34 pm to pvilleguru
Ouch. Tough one today. Work to be done.

The defense didn't even really bother me today. I wasn't expecting to pitch a shut out. Just had a few lapses against the best offense in the league. What bothered me is having all this possession and chances around the goal, but not even making Hart make a save.

The only shot I can remember is the one that Studge launched straight at Hart. Not good enough on that end. Lovren's been pretty poor today I think, but overall the defensive effort wasn't really that bad. It's just City put away their chances

Ricky gets his goal!
Might have been an OG, we'll see what the dubious goals committee has to say

Im tired of screaming "WTF are you doing Johnson!". Just tired. Been too long since he has been a positive for this side.
