Forming and Clyne would be fantastic and looks very likely right now. We just need to top it off with a striker and I'll feel pretty good about this window. What do you guys think of Bacca?

I'm not a huge fan but he's probably my favorite of the strikers we're after.

Please, just let Sturridge be healthy 75% of the year. That's all I ask...that would be like a new signing as well

Firmino is done. LFC have announced his signing pending a medical.

Most reports say £22mm initial fee, rising to £29 possibly.

Also, many of the same are saying Kovacic is next.

If that's the case, I'm guessing Can is going to be asked to play the holding role.

Many reports also saying we're still going for an out and out striker and that clyne is still on the radar.

I'd really like a new partner for Sakho, but since we've reupped Skrtel, I don't see that happening. I really hope Ilori gets his shot for playing time.

I like the Firmino business. He's got a top 5 tackle % for Bundesliga midfielders since 2012, in addition to his chance creation.

I'd like to see Illori get a fair shake pairing with sakho. If we can close on kovacic, clyne and another striker I'll be a happy man.

Yup, sell him for £40-£50, sign a few more, shut it down. It's nice working at the start of a window for a change.

So, Markovic, Coutinho, Lallana, Sturridge, and Firmino. Along with Ibe, Origi and Ings. To top that off, potentially Kovacic (personally don't see this happening), Rondon, and Bacca.

Idk where we are going to fit all these people in.

I'm not saying at all that firminio will end up as good as Suarez - he's not the same skill set - but reading about his tenacity, tackles and work rate, there appears to be a similar drive on the field for him. It will be nice to have a high motor guy high up the field again that's capable of making tackles and harassing guys. Balo didn't do it, lambert wasn't fast enough, and most of the rest of the guys were missing tackling ability.

Run a 2-6-2, 4 attacking midfielders with 2 wingers. Can and Skrtel on defense.

Sorry dude. We're not lucky enough to be able to replace a 250k player a week with thin air. As in no one and call it replacing him.

Yea Firminio is a wingback.

Let Rodgers work his magic. Just look at what he did to his own teeth!

It's talented squad depth which we desperately need with Europa. Imagine europa on a Thursday with a starting front 6 of origi, lallana, markovic, can, Allen and Lucas.

Then when we have to play Sunday in the premiere league its Sturridge, firminio, Cou, Milner, Hendo and Ibe.

Or make whatever breaks down you want. This is a good group for depth reasons and for pushing each other.

We don't want the same starting 11 twice in three days and we don't want anyone having to play 55 games.

Looks like 22m now for firminio. Another 3-4 if we make champions league the next season or two, and another 3-4 when he makes his 100th appearance. I'm pretty fine with all of those. Good business!

I can't believe I'm saying this but I feel pretty damn good so far with the business we are doing. Along with that it seems we are legitimately in it for players that would help fill positions of need and not a bunch of "hybrids".

Last year I was excited just to see early movement. Although the signings were less than exciting. These signings seem different. God, I hope they are different.
