So, Markovic, Coutinho, Lallana, Sturridge, and Firmino. Along with Ibe, Origi and Ings. To top that off, potentially Kovacic (personally don't see this happening), Rondon, and Bacca.
Idk where we are going to fit all these people in.
Markovic may be the odd man out. Ings, and Origi probably will not see early playing time. I also don't see Kovacic happening. And it's either Rondon, or Bacca. Not both.
With all these guys it will be nice to have some sort of rotation. And then there are injuries. Injuries will happen. They always do. Hence, the depth.

What do you guys think of Bacca?
I'm on the fence. He turns 29 in September. I'm not comfortable with the fee considering we'll get maybe... maybe 3 solid years out of him.
But then again, it's not like we had much more time with Suarez.
I wouldn't be upset with picking him up, but I would prefer the 25 year old Jose Rondon.

Agreed but we need goals right now. Guaranteed goals. And if there's one thing the guy has proven, its that he can score at every level.

Aye. There is that. He's as close to a sure thing as it gets.

Hard to judge a guy who was on a shitty team but I like him a lot. I think the things you'll like the most will be stuff that's not measured on a stat sheet. He's scored 16 in a season but I don't foresee him being a big time goal scorer but he does things like starting a counter by pressing like a mad man and mixing that work rate with a lot of skill.
I'm definitely a fan and I really hope yall can get everything out of him. Fun guy to watch.

Thanks for the scouting report. I think we're all really excited, especially considering his emerging partnership with Cou.

I've read that he's looked good at the Copa America but I haven't been able to watch any of it so far.

I think they're playing Saturday. Will definitely be watching now.

Reports that Soton have accepted a £12.5mm offer for Clyne. While not as exciting, this may be our best bit of business this summer, if true.

And we held close to our valuation TFTC
Very good business

10.5 for Clyne with 2 more in add ons is good business too. We are doing well - just have to hope it comes together on the field.
My concern at this point is that last year we were told it was too many signing having to fell before they could play well. We are adding just as many this year and last years still haven't fully gelled yet.
Hope BR gets them into working order in Australia.

Clyne is such an upgrade over our current RBs

We still need a bona fide finisher. Don't see how we can shut it down until we sign some goals.

If we offload Sterling I expect us to make a big splash.
PLEASE LEZCAZETTE or however you spell his name, just throw 30-40M at him.

met in the middle, but I wouldn't have cried over another couple of million.. glad they are starting to get in players that can go into the first team.

All the usual suspects are saying we're after a striker still...
I dunno who is a viable option right now... neither Benteke or Bacca is exciting, but for the right price, I think they can help us.. I haven't seen much of Rondon lately (since Malaga), but he'd be a gamble... one of the above options are the dynamic/versatile forward I'd prefer..
My dream would be Lacazette or Icardi..

So we're going have a 25 man roster looking something like this?
Migs/Bogdan
Clyne/Flanagan/Skrtl/Sakho/Illori/Lovren/Gomez/Toure/Moreno
Lucas/Hendo/Milner/Can/Allen
Lallana/Firmino/Cou/Markovic/Ibe
Studge/Origi/Ings/?
That puts us at 24 and assumes Sterling, Balotelli, Borini, Lambert, Enrique, and Johnson are gone.

Are we not going to loan out Gomez?
