Brad freaking Jones? Yeah, we don't need a real keeper to push Migs?

Well Coutinho and Lalana are starting. Very odd that Rogers didn't start them in the huge match against Basel.

Well apparently Lallana has had broken ribs.

I don't think this is the match to sit Migs... I honestly don't know what to think with this lineup... Oh well..

I guess? Supposedly he picked them up against Lecister City, and is still knackered. The news of this broke a few days ago, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense considering we are about to face off against Fellani's elbows.

They are pretty fricking sharp. Pulling hard for y'all. If results go Arsenal's way toady and in next week they could be up to 3rd.

I am beyond sick of watching Coutinho walk every fricking where.

ETA: Not as depressed with the first half as I initially was. Should be just 1-0, Mata was CLEARLY offside... By 3+ yds. Sterling had 3 premium chances to put the ball in the back of the net, Lallana had several creative passes that created chances, and Moreno misplayed a fricking LASER half-pitch pass from Gerrard that, if a human being could have handled it, he should have scored off of.

Not a bad effort. Only a couple defensive issues. Really not bad, but obviously could have been better. I have to think if Swagotelli had those three shots, he would have scored at least once.

Speaking of Swagotelli, he is warming up as if he is coming in... I would like to see Swag, Sterling, and Lallana in the front of that 4-3-3.

TBH I haven't been all that displeased with our play... Should only be down 1, but I can understand how that call was missed...

Biggest difference so far is the clinical finishing of Rooney, compared to Sterling.. But that is not unexpected..

I feel the same way. Although it pisses me off that Sterling is being such a bitch in contract talks, yet can't seem to show any decent finishing instincts.

Yeah, he may one day be worth it, but for now... He isn't on that level... Unfortunately, he has most of the bargaining power...

Hopefully, we can get a couple of these bastards sent off for a second yellow.. I want to see Balo too

Bad luck on goal 2.

Goal 1 was bad defense by about 4 players. Notably Joe Allen and Cou. No reason for Allen to be lunging or doing anything. The guy further up the field should be making the challenge.

Jones made a bad guess on on Rooney's goal. I think Migs has a chance at saving that because Migs doesn't guess unless its point blank.

We need better finshing out of Sterling. Better passing out of Cou, and better touch out of everyone.

Fellaini catches a 'bow

ETA: WTF!? One on one with a damn GK and gets nothing but embarrassment.

ETA 2: I know this sounds unorthodox, but since we have been playing Gerrard higher up lately, I need to ask if we have played him up there earlier in thw season with Balotelli? Gerrard is our most creative player... Seems like that pairing could make something happen.

I don't understandwhy Stelring tried to turn and face the GK?

He either needs to hit that on the second touch, or square up completely. What he did was exactly the wrong thing.
