No one can convince me otherwise that this wasn't intentional, even though he did "apologize" and even though Hendo did "accept" the "apology".
frick that guy.

I don't think it was intentional (not trying to convince you otherwise), but it was a terrible tackle and he should have been sent off...
Class act Hendo was, after the match...

Yeah, I think he definitely knew what he was doing there... Regardless of intent, that's a red card tackle imo.
But Hendo is okay and we beat those blueshites so I'm happy.

His a right cu-nt, it wouldn't surprise me if he did it on purpose. He was reckless the entire game. Their whole squad seems to be of the mentality to injure the opposition. Second derby in a row they've been out to end careers.

gents, we are 6 points off Chelsea, who are playing out of their minds right now... last night (for me anyway, i had to DVR it and watch it at like 10 once the kids went down) was YUGE... defensively, once Matip gets back, we need to go with Klavan and Matip... Bob played a terrible game and still almost had a goal... Sturridge looked very good in that limited time...
but the best part to me was seeing EVERY ONE of those guys, even the guys that were subs, like Can and Sturridge, elated with the win.... and of course Klopp... i mean, i really think those guys would run through a brick wall for him, he's that likable...

Agree with that - was very happy to see how excited Studge was and he and Klopp hug. STudge is a talent - a talent we can't rely upon, but a talent we will need at times. Like Monday.
My main take away - (and I hate to disagree with you about Chelsea) - its not that Chelsea are playing out of their minds (in fact, I would argue they aren't playing all that great in a lot of their games), they just have the quality up top for Costa to get them a goal, and the defense (Kante has been a huge transfer) to pretty much never concede. They have won FOUR matches in a row 1-0. And several of them you would say barely outplaying the opposition.
We did it ourselves Monday. Though I would say we decidedly outplayed them in the second half, chances were still hard to come by. But we found a way to win 1-0. To me, that's the impressive thing - in prior years we could have easily found a way to tie that game or even give up a soft goal at some point. But our mental toughness, hard working attitude and going for it are all being finely developed by Klopp. Still way to go, but there's no arguing its improving. We NEED games like this to show that, even in a tough game, we can get that magic right at the very end to turn 1 point into 3.
I'm not sure Klavan is an every day starting LCB, but I wouldn't' mind seeing he and Matip as a partnership for a few games. But Klavan was huge a few times early in the game not letting Lukaku get in front of him for some of those crosses.

Plymouth topped Newport in the FA Cup, so we'll get them at Anfield in the 3rd round of the FA Cup

could have easily had a hat trick... but he hasn't looked himself the last few games (hate him out wide)..
Chelsea will be tough to over take, but its not too far fetched...

We've been linked with Wilfried Zaha today... not sure how I feel about that..
He has been much better this season and could help fill the gap left by Mane in January... He isn't replacing anyone in our front line when all are available for selection IMO... He would be an expensive squad player..

Now Im seeing we are possibly going to test the waters with Draxler, though PSG are the big favorites to land him...
He'd be expensive, but very much worth it IMO... more versatile than a player like Zaha, too..
Definitely don't see this happening... but I'm off for the next two weeks and bored

I'm with you... More on board for Draxler, but would probably #ride4Zaha as well(with less excitement).
I don't even want to talk about transfers right now though... I am suffering FIFA 17 transfer PTSD because Coutinho wanted to leave in the game, Klopp said "lol no", and then the board stepped in and sold him anyway.

I feel like Zaha would be exciting at times, but more so frustrating... I can't see Palace letting him go in their relegation battle... maybe in the summer, if they do go down..
Has he decided for England or Ivory Coast... the latter would make it a moot point in Jan.
Draxler would be a dream...
edit: L'Equipe is saying Draxler is done to PSG.. the dream did not last long

Good thing I don't remember any of my dreams.
I just want Phil to be healthy again. Hopefully he doesn't come back too soon and reinjure himself, because I think a Phil-Origi-Bob or Phil-Bob-Lallana front would be more than serviceable for when Sadio is gone for ACoN.

I like Lallana in the MF three where he has excelled this season...
We have options up top with Origi, Firmino and Studge... but all three are better suited centrally... I'd like to see us experiment with a diamond, with Mane out and Coutinho being slowly brought back to the starting 11... but maybe thats just too much FIFA
I'm with you on Coutinho... Klopp seems to pretty cautious with players and bringing them back after injury..
Honestly, if I could bring one player in this window it would be a LCB.. a LB would be next...

Yep, this 100%

Get money for Sakho anyway you can. Then go out and get exactly what you said, more left side defensive help (LCB and LB). I would not be shocked if we grab another attacker but Klopp will not reach for anybody in January with out attacking options already on the roster. Although if a bargain presents itself then we may move.

Saw where Draxler signed with PSG. Don't know the accuracy of that news or whether true or not.
Can you sign before the window opens? Because the transfer window isn't open yet, is it?

Pretty positive everything can be finalized (contract, transfer fee) but the player can't move until the league in which he is joining transfer window opens up. France is probably very late December or January 1st.

Yep, deal is done but the paper work with the french FA won't be officially done until the window opens

I'm seeing Firmino has been charged with drunk driving
Apparently his court date Is the same day as Chelsea match
