Moreno coming on at RW
That's interesting

Not sure why you wouldn't swap him and Milner, but it's whatever, we're 4-1 up

Yea I'm not really sure how to take that.
Can't be that he's completely done at LB cause we don't have anyone else on the roster that can play there really, other than Clyne.
I understand getting him on as a confidence thing, and I can see him coming on at times for energy as a midfielder to help cover ground. But at the same time, I hope that doesn't crush his confidence either that you can't even trust him at LB for the last 3 minutes.
Or maybe I've got nothing to do and am just looking into it too much

bb comments of the game:
- Multiple candidates for MotM. Could be Mane, Firmino, or Sturridge imo. I'm gonna go with Sturridge because, even though he didn't score a goal (and he should have), he played very well. Fantastic spacing, excellent work-rate, really good defense too. I've given Sturridge hell over the past few weeks for his attitude and effort, so I'm giving him the highest props for his game today.
- Yeah, Lucas made a horrible mistake. Hell, it may not have been all his fault because it looked like confusion in communication between he and Mignolet (which isn't a rare thing between Mignolet and his players). But if you remove that one mistake, Lucas played VERY WELL in this game.
- Milner played better than adequate at LB today. I would even say he played very good. And, wow, what a pass for that 1st goal.
- Midfield (Hendo and Wij) didn't show much offensive threat but they were solid.
- Mignolet makes me nervous but give him his props, dude showed toughness out there. That was one beat up goalie.
- If Mane was the best purchase of the offseason, Matip ain't too far behind.
- Was it just me or was Leicester particularly dirty today? Grabbing, tripping, head-butting... maybe I'm overreacting.
Nice win. Go Reds!

I'll agree Milner and Lucas were very good today for the most part.
Still some big mistakes at big times which is unfortunately our MO

Admit it guys, who got a chuckle when Hendo fricking sailed that gift late. Some things will never change.

I laughed I cried he's got a bad case of Wondo-itis.

Hendo played well today... I thought, for the most part, everyone did.. I was pleased to see Studge look sharp and quick, too..
Knee Jerk reaction aside, even Lucas looked good at CB..
LCFC looked terrible... lucky to finish in the top 1/2 of the table if they play like that the rest of the way...

Yeah I can't decide if we looked great or if LCFC looked like a championship club this season. Probably a little of both. Mane may be the best buy we've had in a while. And I'm thrilled to see Lallana settling in

BTW, props to Georgy Wijnaldum for a solid game.
Very active. Nice defense. And a couple of good set-ups to Sturridge (didn't score) and Lalana (goal!).

Good cal bb about Win. I thought he looked really good. He was solid all around the pitch and had some really good, timely runs. If we can get that type of performance from Stu we are going to be dangerous.

I'm still not sold on him as a CM but yea he played better and was solid. Still having a hard time figuring out our best 11. Hendo played well as a DM but I still think he'd be best as a shutter in front of Can. That front 3 also looked great with Lallana coming in behind. I'd be a little interested in seeing Coutinho playing deeper in Wij's spot kind of how he did during our run in 13/14. Definitely a lot of possibilities

I've definitely called him out a bit for his having trouble acclimating to Liverpool early, so its only fair for me to say that Wij had his best game by far. Definitely did a good job across all fronts that we would need him to and look more involved in offense and transition.
Studge - goals will come - but he set up the first one with the run back to regain possession, then the run forward to open up a huge hole for Firmino. Then the second one he gets the assist. If he can remain that involved, we're going to score a ton of goals.
Frankly, pretty much everyone played well. There was no one I can single out as playing poorly. That's a nice feeling to have. Lallana, Hendo and Matip stood at to me as doing a lot of little things that add up. Lucas played a lot of long passes out of the back straight to guy that set up our first two goals as well.
I'm not worried about our best XI - form, injuries, tactical rotation, are all at play.
But its interesting to me that in a day where we rest Cou from the starting lineup, we look a bit more dynamic in the front 3. I'm wondering (hoping)if Klopp will try Cou in the midfield 3 at some point.

Ive seen a few suggest a lineup back to 13/14..
Similar to SAS up front with Studge, Bob (Luis) and Sadio (Sterling)...
with a MF 3 of Coutinho, Hendo and Can (Gerrard role)
Could be interesting...

Want, minus Hendo. I love Hendo, but he just isn't good enough the way I see it.
