The ref "wasn't quite up to speed"

Granted I don't post here often but I've never heard a peep of soccer come out your mouth.

That ref was incredibly bad. We were robbed of winning that game.

The Aguedelo "foul" was a light one, in my opinion and was the right call. The Donovan foul was there, but it would have been a weak penalty. The Rogers takedown would have made Patrick Peterson proud. Clear red, and the biggest mistake of the night for sure.
Again, I only watched the game from minute 57 onward. Brek Shea looked world-class. Donovan was as good as his vintage self, and I have always rated Dononvan higher than 95% of US fans. Good work by Aguedelo and surprisingly, Rogers. Howard, too.
Don't have an opinion on the defense, Bradley, Jones, Torres, Buddle. Clark sucked as usual.

it really is amazing how the USalways manages to get fricked by the refs. we get helped like 1 in 10 games and fricked in 6 of 10 games

Beckerman has been absolutely sublime in this half.
Beckerman seems to always be solid. Nothing flashy, but you never say, "boy, Beckerman really screwed up there".

I really liked the last 30 minutes. We played like a talented EPL team, looking to attack, pressuring quickly on defense, and utilizing speed down the flanks. It was the most fun I have had watching us play a friendly in a long time.

Fair enough. You've gone up a notch in my book. Like it fricking matters
