NEW ORLEANS, LA (Feb. 21, 2019) – The New Orleans Jesters announced plans today to develop a comprehensive soccer strategy for the club, which incorporates a new professional soccer team into the program. Additionally, the Jesters will intensify the focus on overall player development through both their player-centric youth program and their leadership involvement in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL).

“We’ve been exploring professional soccer for some time,” Jesters General Manager Kenny Farrell said. “In order to commit the proper time and resources to the club’s plans, we have opted to exercise our right to go inactive for the 2019 NPSL season. We struggled with this decision, but we feel our fans and the next generation of local soccer families deserve better.”

If they don't act fast, they may have to sit 2020 out as well.

I’ve known Kenny for a long time. And while I didn’t play for him as a Jester’s player, most of my friends that did do not have anything positive to say about him.
And he is basically locked in as the GM/coach because his wife (really her dad) own the team. They also have a serious lack of coaching quality in the youth ranks.

Lsu31 must be on jesters payroll or is a royal court follower. Anybody who has worked with that man has nothing good to say. The fact that he is the commissioner for one league, but is entertaining joining other rival leagues, goes to show you how that man operates.

There is a long line of people who think the Jesters are an awful organization and will be happy when they fold for good.

Should have became a ATL fan, though I'm not sure de Boer is going to work out. Could be a tough season, would have been better to become a fan from day 1. Very exciting team under Tata.

There is always Houston or Dallas too.

I've said numerous times in the past that I am Royal Court. Not exactly a big reveal.

He is commish of an amateur league, looking to join a pro league, what exactly is the issue there?

Any particular reason you're taking a dig at GCPL?
