The tactics are just odd. RVP out there and you keep playing a lone striker. Either pair RVP up with him, or have VDV play just behind the guy. As it is VDV is sitting back too far, and RVP on the flank isn't one to take on people with the dribble. He can make fine passes, but not to just one lone striker.

At what minute do you think the Dutch go 4-4-2? Or sub out Robben/RVP? They can't wait too long, I figure 70th minute at the very latest.

Sucks their backline is so bad, since they would concede a bunch more goals if they push forward more. Dutch simply have to start converting their chances, plain and simple. They wont magically find better defenders on their roster.

Sneijder spends the whole game waving his arms, telling people (refs, teammates, etc.) to frick off. It's great.

Robben has been such a big disappointment. Hopefully he can get a goal which wont quite offset his 20+ frick up's but it will make everyone forget about how crappy he's been.

Sneijder has been great through two games. Too bad no one else wants to play well with him.

As it stands Dutch need to beat Portugal by 2 or more, and have Germany beat Denmark to advance.

Sneijder has been good though, easily their best player of the tournament. I literally can't think of anyone else who has played well.
