he still has to get that shot on target... even from distance and the defenders crashing down hard on him... it was still an open look
That's fair, but say he SHOULD have passed is a bit ridiculous.

He killed himself after Horvath made him a bitch.

I wasn't saying he should've passed... that's why I said I didn't remember seeing another white shirt rushing in to give him an outlet

Ok since we are on break, I was on a beer run during the US-guitar VAR penalty, was it Legitimate? Debate among my section

That was a foul right before zardus goal right? I was sitting 7 rows up and it sure as hell looked like it.

The counter is wide arse open. If we get decent possession in the middle at the top of the box, then the outlet wide is there...we just scramble to get possession and get a head up. Overall, surprised to still be in it.

Legitimate?

Yeah, legitimate call.

You could argue that he got a miniscule part of the ball, but I still think he caught the man first before touching the ball. I was fine with the pen call.

Hopefully, by the 2026 World Cup, the USMNT will have developed the ability to possess the ball against good competition instead of just playing defense for the entire game

He was referring to me. Dude was at most 5 yards on top of the box.

Just frustrating seeing nipples blow every single opportunity he gets every game.

I liked what I saw from George Bello in that half. 19 year old sprung 2 counters. They went nowhere but I liked what I saw from him nonetheless in pushing both those counters.

I also think Acosta is having a nice game. The front line of arriola, Hoppe, zardes is just really limited in what it can realistically do.

Enjoyed watching this half and this gold has produced two players who seem ready (turner and Robinson) and has hopefully given Acosta some confidence to again be an option behind Adams.

You can debate if Sands got a toe on the ball, but it's going to be a penalty more often than not.

I think the Mexican players had the cutback completely sniffed out and were okay with just letting PA shooting on his left foot.

I wouldn't get to bent out if shape about this one.

You're welcome to rewind your cable, but there was no one anywhere near the box at the time he shot.

Do you not watch our A team? We’ve got work to do but I think by 2022 WC we will be able to have good periods of possession against a lot of solid teams. Pulisic, Adams, Weah, Dest, Brooks, McKennie, Aaronson, Konrad, Musah, et al are very technical.
