Haji Wright scored again

If you want to feel old, Haji Wright’s head coach is…Nuri Sahin

When Nuri was playing for Werder a couple years ago, I legit thought he was like 40 at first because of how slow he looked on the field.

Haji hasn't been on a US Squad since the U23s in 2019... IDK if he's even been invited to a camp since.
I remember well those old school U teams with Pulisic, Wright, Sargent, etc. - always seemed like he had some potential.

If Haji keeps up this scoring pace going into next season he 100% makes the plane.
His team back in Scandinavia is getting relegated supposedly so one would hope he moves on to a better team. He’s top 5 in scoring in the Turkish league and has 6 goals in his last 6 games.
He’s a dude who looked Pulisic-level at the youth level but then fell flat on his face at the start of his career. I’m legit psyched to see him in good form and hope it continues.

Pefok scored a 97th minute pen to win a match for Young Boys

Speculation mounting that we’re calling in Malik Tillman for Nations League.
Adding him to the list

To quote George Elliot, it’s never too late to be what you might have been. Come on down Turkish league dynamo.
*the above quote does not apply to Bobby Wood. I’m sorry, Bobby, but it is too late for you to become what you might have been.

Malik has previously talked about how proud he is to play for Germany and that he never knew his dad. This will of course upset Randy.

Haji Wright, whom Gregg Berhalter plans to invite to USMNT camp for four matches next month, converts penalty for Turkey's Antalyaspor for 13th goal of season. He has scored in six straight matches and 7 of 8.

I’m very curious to see if Wright ends up at Fenerbahce or Besiktas, if Batshuayi’s loan isn’t extended. Galatasaray is a complete mess and Wright is obviously in a good spot.
One of the best climates in the world, a coach he can speak to directly in English, the form of his life, a pretty solid team, etc but this could be a big upgrade if the teams are interested.

Zardes scores a pen today for his first goal as a rapid.

Have we ever had a top scorer in any European league before? I can’t think of anyone even coming close tbh
