New dark horse for our #9. First goal was really nice and he made the shot for himself in a way I haven’t seen our strikers do.

Pefok scored today, but more importantly, Haji Wright scored today again.

He needs to be in Nations League at this point

Mihailovic scored a minute in for Montreal today. Kid is absolutely on a tear to start the season.

Terrence Boyd, Jordan Pefok, Jesus Ferreira, Haji Wright, Jeremy Ebobisse, Brandon Vasquez…can one of these be the 2022 Edson Buddle (hopefully better)?

And on a serious note, is Pefok about to be the first American to ever lead a foreign league in scoring?

There's literally a better chance that pvilleguru makes the World Cup roster than him, but this is a thread about American strikers scoring goals and Novakovich came on as a 2nd half sub and converted a penalty for Frosinone in a 4-4 draw today.

Good he needs to play. I'm not one saying all players should jump from a team that might get relegated, but he isn't playing at all and needs a move

Yep, it's why I wish Pepi would've waited until after the World Cup to make his move.

Weah started as a lone striker for Lille today, but didn't score.

Gyasi on the move

Sources tell ESPN that #Crew96 has agreed terms with #Rapids96 to trade Gyasi Zardes to Colorado for initial outlay of $300k in 2022 GAM, though amount could increase if incentives met. Zardes had to waive no trade clause to get deal done. Deal still needs league approval.

I know that’s not what GAM stands for in this tweet, but I wonder if Eddie Johnson could lace up his boots for us in 2022.

Don't tempt me to add him to the list

OLASDM is also worth a look when we are going with soccer board acronyms.

I doubt anyone watched the Swiss league but how is he so good there and so ineffective for the USMNT?
