Ozil doesn't make much sense to me yet since from last year to this year Arsenal are 3 points worse. AKA his impact hasn't been enough to statistically improve their table position yet.

ETA I may take back the Ozil comment. After thinking about it for a few seconds, his transfer was definitely after Arsenal's loss to Villa. I don't know who/when their other two points dropped came against however, so it may be the case that they are even compared to last season.

We also lost all of our wingers right at the beginning of the year, so that has undoubtedly had an effect on our points total.

No doubt. My point was more about the tangible evidence RVP and Aguero have had vs. Ozil on their respective teams.

My vote is RVP, but Sturridge should definitely be on that list.

It sounds like you are saying we are three points worse off at the same point last year, which isn't true. We had 20 points after 13 games last year. We have 31 this year.

We have done three points worse when you compare the same fixtures from last season, if that's what you mean.

I'm not sure RVP should count in this - imo, its a completely different situation when you come in from another EPL side rather than outside the EPL.

So many guys take awhile before they start really firing on all cylinders in the EPL.

What Aguero and Ozil have done is incredible, imo.

which, to me, is a silly stat because things change from year to year. but if you want to use it, ManU had the exact same number of points in 2011/12 as they did in 2012/13 so RvP had zero impact.

Ozil did have an assist in his first 10 minutes. That is pretty immediate.

Cisse at Newcastle? 13 goals in 14 games including goal of the year against Chelsea.

Much different now, of course.
