And the MLS TV deal is pretty shite. Nationally, you essetially get 3 games a week, all on Sunday. Games are split between ESPN, FS1, and FS2. That doesn't lead to a lot of viewers.

Because certain posters are desperate to decry the progress that MLS has made in its own growth and in helping to grow soccer in our country.

One can acknowledge the progress MLS has made in growing the sport in the country while also being able to acknowledge how it's system and being tied to the flawed set up of the USSF are hindering other aspects of the game.
DS is on one end of the spectrum and you are on the other always defending MLS.

With half the games on univision deportes, 7% seems about right and I don't think it will get better until the get them on normal channels.

MLS tv coverage from the start of the league had been heavy regional channels like Comcast sports net or fox sports net. First divisions in other countries isn't like that. MLS doesn't warrant a big time tv deal yet bc the quality of play and the demand isn't there. EPL will be king in America for a very very long time, maybe for ever.

That is wrong. I'd say about 8-9 teams get full crowds week in and week out. Then you have NYCFC who gets around 25,000 a game but play in huge stadium.

Yeah, the three Canadian teams, Kansas City, Orlando, New York, Portland, and Seattle are always packed when I watch.

Please explain the tax issue as I've never heard of this before. Also what is Gulati's relationship with kraft?

MLS will just continue to grow and get better all the time in every way...attendance, quality, viewership, stadiums, academies...and DS can't do anything about it.

Also, PSG and Newcastle should both be folded. They are two of the worst clubs in soccer, period. Total garbage clubs. I hate that Yeldin has come into contact with the shite stain skid mark that is Newcastle.

Did you read he article? It explains why.
Although i do believe MLS is viewed in such terms mostly by the old school owners/guys who Kraft is bringing in who are also NFL owners a la Arthur Blank.
