Mbappe is the LeBron of soccer.
Supremely talented but arrogant as frick and flops like a motherfricker. Very easy to dislike.
Haaland is also arrogant, but he's clearly having fun on the pitch and does not shy away from contact. A likeable goofball.

I would like Mbappe on my team, firmly dislike him otherwise. Haaland I would love on my team, and still like him otherwise.
Mbappe is more talented, but I'd take Haaland if I had to choose one, just because he seems far more likeable.

Mbappe is the better overall player and will have the more prolific career.
Haaland is the more physical and dominant player in or very near the box. His game is different obviously than Zlatan was but his physical presence and personality lead to obvious parallels to how Ibrahimovic’s career played out given their nations of origin.
Haaland will always be in a back seat internationally because his team isn’t a contender.

Haaland reminds me a ton of Ovechkin. They’re monsters and love the game while being goofballs at times.
