We’re getting two 0-0 games tomorrow now. Book it.

I was laughed at in the last thread when i said England had more talent than France. That “awesome” midfield of Pogba and Kante allowed Suisse to equalize after a two goal lead. I love Kante but those two together are average. Pogba is a mental midget and Kante is just a midget (who I love, by the way).

wow... Mbappe saved and France is out

Did the France PK lineup surprise anyone else. I'm not sure why Benz wasn't in it....unless it had something to do with the one he missed in his first game back with France after the sex tape thing. He made some after that in friendlies i think.

In my mind Benzema should have been the guy taking that last PK....am I wrong there? I think his mentality would have been better for #5 than Mbappe. I'm not saying sit Mbappe on PKs I'm saying sit someone else and let him go sooner when the pressure is slightly less.

I mean the French midfield is leaps and bounds better than the English midfield regardless of the result today

Criticizing Pogba’s performance in this tournament is absolutely laughable. I was critical of the giveaway before the 3rd goal, but he’s arguably been the best player in the Euros.

Also, just because a team advances further (which is yet to happen), does not mean it has more talent. I would not say Denmark has more talent than either Germany or England, but it will advance further than one of those teams.

Bc France has more talent and it’s not debatable

You also said England is an EPL all star team

Half of the team makes the Euros quarterfinals, but finishes 8th in the Bundesliga. Have fun with Rose, Dortmund.

Kante and Pogba are both better individual players than any in England's midfield, but Deschamps also deploys players to get the absolute worst out of them. England may be able to grind out victories due to the way they play, but you have to be out of your mind to think Declan Rice or Kalvin Phillips is better individually. And Pogba played insanely well today.

Look. As badly as I want Bukayo Saka to keep tearing shite up, Southgate is WORSE than DeChamps when it comes to parking the bus.

It will be their downfall. I can see them making the semis and the pressure of the Wembley crowd AND Denmark's attack just absolutely fricking them

It is an intensely odd choice to play that way too, for both managers. Southgate brought nearly every defender in England, and only six midfielders if you are counting Grealish. Just an intensely odd way of setting up. He could throw out Sancho and Saka at once and let them carry the ball through the German defense, which would be fun to watch at least. England have so many promising ball-carriers too that given the overly defensive set-up, moving the ball upfield through dribblers seems a good way of getting set-piece opportunities too.

England will go up 1-0 on Germany, give up an equalizer late in stoppage time and then lose 3-1 after falling apart in AET. Another major tournament heartbreak for the Three Lions.

2-0 Deutschland over England.

They will do what Hitler failed to accomplish in 1940
