that was a pretty bad foul though.

Someone explain to me why Memphis cheering for a goal is a bad? I'm sometimes lost on acceptable European norms.

Depending on the situation, a lot of players won't celebrate against their former club.

But the question is why? That honestly makes no sense to me.

Just out of respect. For example, Fernando Torres left Chelsea and went back to his boyhood club Atletico Madrid and he scored against Chelsea and didn't celebrate.

It honestly just depends on the situation.

Draxler puts Wolfsburg in front after Akinfeev fricks up (again).

Akinfeev can frick up all he wants for CSKA. He saved Russia's arse over the international break against Sweden.

It wasn't out of respect. Torres just forgot what to do after he scores.

I think Chelsea would have clapped had Torres scored for anyone at that point.

Monchengladbach (sp?) loves giving away penalties. Third penalty makes it 2-0 Sevilla.

This could also be a reason.

Akinfeev has fricked up in every competition he's been in since the Germany Euros.

The non-celebrating thing is idiotic unless it's a club legend (ex: Larsson at Celtic, Gerrard at Pool).
