Oh man.

Sky Sports says the season will not end today. Does "abandoned" mean that the match will not be played today but played at a later date or that the match will never be played?

The match has European implications. It must be played at a later date. Unless the FA has some other magical idea.

yea that was a bad call

I'm seeing postponed on Twitter. But if City goes ahead and wins today, there's not much of a reason to play it.
ETA: Forgot about Southampton and the Europa spot.

Is there a team playing that's fighting to stay up? Those are usually most entertaining. Just saw Newcastle merk Tottenham

West Ham and Southampton could both still pass United in the table and that does affect Europa League group stage vs qualifying. While not horribly meaningful in the eyes of most, it's not meaningless. I would think they have to make it up.

That bad call could have huge.
McCarthy just drilled one for Everton.

No, everybody going down have already been confirmed. City and United had the only real drama today.

I feel like if it was going to be played later they wouldn't say abandoned.
But it needs to be played.

Newcastle are doing their part (so far) to ensure a happy St. Totteringham for Arsenal fans.
