the team is 2nd in the standings right now so they're having a good season

So when they took the club over they put a mega frick ton of debt on the club. As a business move it was very smart bc it’s a serviceable debt that the club can hold. Issue is the Glazers instead of try to pay off the debt with the profits the club makes, they take the profits out of the club for their own pockets. They don’t spend their own money on players like City or Chelsea. It’s all based on the club being self sufficient.
