well that was a real snoozer today. city must have really wanted to show how big its dick is by going down and getting a win in madrid. its not the plan i would have gone with.

I'm convinced this is what the plan is. Either big dick the world or go down in flames.

Hart and Kompany were the only ones who came to play

Well we've scored five goals on the road thus far in our two away legs in the knockout rounds. Just gotta score that, give or take a couple in 90 minutes instead of 180.

Meh...could have been worse. The Whites did deserve to score in the last quarter of the match....but all in all not a horrible result. Joe Hart came up real huge....like squirrel nuts huge.
If we can get some relatively healthy fire power back in the Bernabeu....it could be a good day.

Madrid are unbeaten at home in the champions league this year by a combined score of 18-0.

Can't really complain with the result. Silva was decent and once he went off we got really loose with possession. Even then, Kompany and Hart did their thing. Nobody really stood out but nobody had a big mistake either. I felt like we did a good job neutralizing RM.
We weren't supposed to be make it out of the group. We weren't supposed to advance in knockouts. We weren't supposed to beat PSG. I'm happy with where we're at.
