Yup.

Can't really disagree with anything you posted.

I think you may be right. Dzeko was having a great match.

Who on the USMNT has the skill and goal presence to take that shot straight away like Coutinho did?

I don't think I've ever seen a USMNT player with that kind of wherewithal and confidence when not facing the goal.

That is why we fail.

Agree with you there.

He was much better in the second half and only seemed to be doing more and more as the game went on.

Getting the tie when they did may have hurt - you know he wanted to get Aguero on, and being tied at that point, he didn't want to take off any midfielders, etc. So his only choice was Dzeko. If they had still been down one, they would have likely put both into it and I think Liverpool's backline would have really struggled.

Who would have thought Milner of all people would have been a difference maker in the match?

David James

He plays for a team in the Icelandic league now. And a small one too. The team plays on an island off the coast that has a population of 4K

Aguero had one good run? That's about all I saw from him.

The only way that Liverpool loses now is if Peej guarantees the title.

Several would have taken it - Dempsey, Donovan..maybe Bradley.

But to convert? I give each of them a much lesser chance than Cou - and Cou is generally not a good finisher at all.

It was an impressive bit of skill.

Wow Hull City put out an ad to find out who was alive the last time Hull made it this far, 84 years ago.

They are interviewing the 91 year old fan who was at the game. Steve Bruce paid for him and his grandson to have first row seats.

He said " We were robbed in that match"

Soccer is much too gay for peej's standards.

Pretty much.

But if they had left two up top, I think they cause some real problems for Skyrtel and Sak-o-gangly-limbs. We were having trouble keeping just Dzeko in check with the two of them as it was.

Clattenberg is absolutely useless. Unbelievably bad.

I think he let the meaning of this match get to him today... I usually like him, but he let it slip through his hands today, made bad calls both ways.
