Y'all are just stupid as usual about Barca.

as long as soccer refs punish strength, Barca will have an inherent advantage. i don't care who the opponent is

and as long as the refs reward Barca for diving, then i will never understand why people defend them

if Neymar positioned himself to force Ramos to trip him that doesn't make it any less of a foul.

Ramos was just running and Neymar ran into Ramos. that is not a foul

Yup.

Going 10 vs 11 made the game play go way downhill.

I don't think you understand the words coming out of our mouths (you know what I mean).

Neymar basically put his leg into ramos' by leaving it there. He altered his running movement with no intention on the ball and created the contact. Meaning ramos DID NOT FOUL HIM.

I have no particular favoritism between these teams other than barca does seem like they have one or two more of those unlikeable diver types.

While running away from the defender? You do realize you are essentially saying that if someone is shielding themselves from the defender that the defender can go through the player and then its the guy defending's fault...

It wasnt a dive. It was a trip.

One of the best players in the world is in on goal, sees a defender running across him, DOESN'T high step over defender's feet, and that's a dive?

GTFO of here with that. It's nonsense. When Barca was winning everything, I could understand the hate. Now it's just silly.

as long as soccer refs punish strength[/quote]They punish fouls. Should Barca pretend they are not fouled? Should Iniesta gain 30 pounds so that he doesn't feel it as much when someone knocks into him?

While I agree with you in a vacuum, that was less of a foul than the no call on Ronaldo at the Camp Nou

Doesn't matter how Ramos ran into him, just that he did and so it's a foul

why should the defender have to alter his path? especially when neymar purposefully threw his leg into the path of ramos?

so the offensive player gets to initiate contact, fall as a result, and it's the defender's fault?

that's not logical at all

Neymar created the contact (ie ran into ramos) therefore no foul.
