No. Because you picked the front runner.

Played nothing into who I picked.

Most Americans pick Man U, Man City, Aresenal, Real, Barca, etc.

But again: I'm sorry for not picking your precious little Tottenham.

You admitted you picked them because they were a winner, and you wanted one.

I need something to be proud of. Tottenham sounded like it would have fit right in with the above list. I can't take anymore of "above average".

I hope you're proud of these Champions League chokers.

I admitted I didn't pick Tottenham because they suck. You can spend the time to find the post if you want.

Eta: Nevermind, you already did.

That post very well admits that you were only considering teams who were great. Then you picked the best team in the PL.

My options came down to:

The Manchester teams
Arsenal
Tottenham
Chelsea

I didn't pick Chelsea because they were front runners, I picked them because I wasn't going to jump on the Manchester bandwagons, I have several Arsenal friends and kinda like going against the grain, and Tottenham was just like the Braves, Saints, LSU teams I alresdy pull for.

That's how I arrived at Chelsea. I also took up another poster's advice and played with all these teams on FIFA. Chelsea was my favorite.

But it's all good, believe what you want. If Chelsea falls off the table in the next few years, I'll still be here cheering them on. I don't jump from these things.

Holy shite what a day. I got a last minute message about a ticket to the game so I was there for the whole thing, just now arriving back home and haven't seen any replays or anything.
First off, congrats to PSG and DS, good luck advancing. I thought Chelsea played poorly. We could not be direct to save our lives and Costa kept fighting for space in Eden's neighborhood. Ramires played like shite all game. And I haven't seen us defend set pieces so poorly in ages. PSG really stepped it up after Zlatan's red card. Though it took them some time after. I thought Chelsea dominated the ball for long stretches of the game but due to the lack of direct play we had no chances.
I thought the ref was just horrible, towards both teams. I did not think Zlatan's tackle deserved a red. I expected a yellow. I was really kinda sad to see him leave. I wanted to watch the man play, not walk off the field early. However I also thought Costa deserved a penalty (granted I haven't taken a look at any replays yet, this is coming from my view in the stands). The ref seemed to really dominate stretches of the game.
Anyway, congrats PSG, congrats DS enjoy the next round, and to every other Premier League fan, frick y'all, we're top of the league!
