Lol that ball deflected by accident the direction away from de gea. That guy being there had no impact. But after what slab head got away with I had no doubt United would come out on the good end of VAR.

Should have stood.

DDG would never have saved that because of the deflection from the MU player. If the Everton player wasn't there it would have still gone in the goal.

No influence on the keeper = no offsides.

Gylfi didn't obstruct his vision. The deflection created the goal.

Looks like you don't understand the rules

He was ruled offside and he was 100% sitting right in front of DDG.

A few years ago that goal stands but after the rule change it isn't a goal.

He was sitting right in front of him and the ball almost hit him

if anything be mad at Gylfi for being a dumbass and not getting off the ground.

Actually I was with you SCH then I started listening to the rules explained on the post match and it sounds like that should have stood. Idk and really could give a shite.

The commentators from NBCSN disagree with you..

They explained that Gylfi didn't clearly obstruct DDG vision. The deflection off of Maguire created the goal.

I could see the argument to let it stand until its clear that he moves his legs out of the path of the ball on its way in.

At that point he himself thinks he is part of the play and could effect it. All he really had to do was get up and move back. Instead he crab walked back and kicked his legs in the way while in front of the keeper.

I feel like Everton got shafted. I watched it in slow mo and the goal was going to happen regardless. De Gea had already started moving to his right before the deflection and there is no way he was getting to that ball.

Sky>>> NBCSN

He was part of the play in an offside position, he was literally in the path of the ball until he got out the way at the very last second while still in front of DDG.

Don't give me that shite. They know what they're doing. Watch the Ole interview. He basically said he wouldn't have been upset if it stood because DDG wouldn't have made the save.

At the end of the day that call is heart breaking but we have a bunch of people who are forgetting the rules or don't understand them bc they are mad or hate United.

He is literally in the path of the ball going and moves a second before it was going hit him then goes in the net

He is part of the play at that point and is in an offside position sitting directly in front of the goal keeper.
