When is Wenger finally going to get the boot? It's pretty unacceptable how often the team comes out looking like complete arse. Just need a culture change. Even good coaches get stale after a while. Eventually, you have nothing new to tell the players.

Arsenal played retard and poor, retardedly poor, but watching Monaco play is like slowly ripping off my fingernails. And balls.

Like watching a poor man's Chelsea when they beat Barcelona and yet still Arsenal flop

They are 3rd in PL right now and qualified for the final 16 in the CL. Unless that stops he isn't going anywhere.

Not sure how it's Wenger's fault when the goals are a lucky deflection, Mert being waaay out of position, and a fortunate off-the-post breakaway when we were obviously pressing.

It's not as if the coach is the one moving around and kicking ball out there.

Maybe the only fault is the still pressing, counterattack goal, but I feel confident most coaches would have been doing the same.

Yes. And with how young our team is, I think we have a great shot to do it soon. We still have a shot at this year, which I totally ruled out before the season.

Because there is no way you should have been pressing after getting the goal. So you pretty much answered your own question.

Mert being waaay out of position

Having Mert as a first choice CB also...

Arsene is totally fine with this. Now he doesn't have to worry about CL distraction and can focus on barely qualifying for next year's inevitably disappointing CL campaign.

Right?!

I could understand this if it came from a ManU, Chelsea, or City fan...

lol 3-1

Seriously though, you got a lifeline with that Ox goal. They had almost hit you on that same counter two times in the previous 7-8 min. A third away goal is virtually a death sentence.

Count your losses and try to make a go of it in Monaco. Now, you're dealing in the realm of miracles.

There is something to be said for motivation. A coach can have all the knowledge and experience in the world, but if he can't get his players up for a big matches, it's not good. This team is underperformed in a lot of crucial spots recently. I don't think the game has passed up Arsene, but I do think there is a voice out there that could get through to the club better than his has done lately.
