All the top spending teams are shite on the field for how much we have all spent. United, City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Spurs.

None have particularly bought well (overall)... And the smaller clubs have more money to invest and have brought in more quality...

Therein lies the problem....the lack of a strong academy structure. Heck, it is no accident that Bayern and Barca are so strong due to talent coming up the ranks and they acquire the missing pieces on transfers. As opposed to buying players left and right and hoping it sticks. Hell United's Class of 92 paid huge dividends.

In recent years, it seems that even these two are relying on buying, more so than their academies...

Other than Lahm and Muller, is there another academy guy on Bayern's team that plays meaningful minutes??

Academy days are over Barca and Man United's last runs will be the last of their kind ever.

After a shite start to the season, Juve has won 7 straight and is up to 2nd in the table.

They just may win Serie A again after all.

and while playing like shite, went in and nut punched the Best in EPL, Home and away.

And the best part, is they arent playing their best soccer. Good soccer, but they are capable of better, and when they hit that last cylinder, it will be lights on on SerieA title race.

They need to make a couple moves In January.

Deeney reminds me of Emile Hesky, so damn physically strong, that he can break through tackles , while being held to make plays or goals.

Clearly wasn't ready to come back after the knee... Lovren's injury has rushed him back too soon IMO

lol

Klopp has a long way to go, the team is such a train wreck, and a spending spree did nothing but increase the mess.
