We painted ourselves into a corner giving the Casemiro and Eriksen types 150k+ a week in wages. It's almost impossible to move them on because A. No other team besides maybe Saudi will pay that. B. They want a huge compensation package from United to leave. Apparently we had to give AWB a nice little payout to leave.

One of the other members/president of the SC Red Army sent members a invitation to the Adidas Employee Store in Greenville, SC where soccer jerseys are 30% off and everything else is 50%. I went a couple weeks ago and grabbed the new black training top. I dont like the home/away jerseys this year so I left them. I am planning on going back for the third jersey. I think its the best looking jersey in maybe 5 years? I love the new jacket more than the jersey and Im going to get it, even at full price.

Casemiro is much better with someone next to him. We can’t play 4-3-3 with Casemiro on the field. He can’t cover that much ground. I think we played well today. Put away a few more chances and it’s a comfortable game. Good start to the season. Not great, but some things to build on.
