Pretty good game played by the lads, and definitely entertaining to watch. Zirkzee, Bruno, Dorgu as highlights. Garnacho showed progress and Hojlund played with intensity.
Dorgu’s speed and physicality on that left wing were the difference in the game for me. Drew a pen and a red card. Consistently dangerous.
Keep this momentum going.

I think Garnacho needs a transfer to a system that fits his skillset better. It's honestly probably the best thing for both sides considering we need money to raise the floor of this team.

Not bad at all. The shape is great and you can see the effort put forth from start to finish. Just missing the quality that we expect at United...heavy touches, passes not where they need to be, clumsy shots. I'm happy with the progress.

We are actually really solid in the back and midfield right now. We just have a dreadful front 3. Garnacho seems to be stuck in hero ball mode, incapable of making correct decisions and when he tries to its so out of character our other attacking players are never in position. Hojlund has been starving for the ball so much he has legitimately forgotten how to play striker. Losing Diallo has been a real bitch, thank goodness we have Bruno back in form or idk how we would ever score a goal. Well we haven't in two games so yea.

That was a backbreaker. Not a bad result though. Lyon had a ton of chances they didn't capitalize on in that second half.
