And Fellani starts ....

chances Martin Atkinson gets suspended....it's either a pk or it's a dive...Payet scores..lost total control..again

zero chance. fa actually backs its referees in those situations usually which is mind boggling.

Live to fight another day. Now time to concentrate on the miricale at OT Thursday.
Posted on 3/13/16 at 1:09 pm to Esquire
If they play like they did the 1st 86 mins of the match today then they will never pull out a miricale at OT Thursday.... i love my team but gawd dam this season is getting more and more frustrating

A draw was a fair result but shambolic performance by Atkinson

Yeah, but despite those stats and the eyes of the fans (who booed him off the field), LvG thought he played great, so
quote:
Yeah, because I think Fellaini again played a good match.
He performed well in our gameplay and [the fans' reaction] was disappointing, but that was the only moment that I was disappointed because they were supporting our side, in spite of two losses this week.
Maybe they have another opinion to me.

poor Fellaini
he reminds me of shingi. a promising young player ground to nothing by ManU. curious what he does in his post-ManU career
does he end up in a lesser league like Turkey? or a less athletic league like France? i doubt he's tactical enough for italy or germany

also serious question about LvG
does he just restrain the action of players to an extent that creativity is lost, and that's why attacking has come to a halt?
i know he's big on his system, positioning, etc and do those constraints just sap the will of the players (while giving a solid D)?
like mou on steroids

Looks like he isn't getting suspended for his elbow on Can and is eligible to play Thursday

Getting on train in about an hour. These next two matches are basically it. If we come out like we did last week vs Liverpool and City no fight at all LvG has to go.

I agree. If we come out flat and unmotivated against both of these bitter rivals he should be shite-canned Lane Kiffin style. Let Giggs take over and line out our next gaffer...I'll be a nervous wreck the next four days

If we play like this against City on Sunday .... we will get smoked :(

I came into this game with low expectations but really liked how we came out and brought it to them in the first half. Lapse of concentration at the end with some horrid defending and the tie was over. Was always going to be tough to prevent them from scoring. Coutinho is really good.
I understand the idea behind changing Varela although I disagreed with it. Bringing on Darmian and Schweiny confused me though. Got to score 3 goals lets not change our holding mid (and not change formation) and our left back (Rojo might have been injured, i'm not sure).
Fellaini played MUCH better today but lately it's been an outlier to get a good performance from him.
Season comes down to FA cup and this weekend. Lose this weekend and gonna be tough to get top 4, a win and we are right in it.
Looking forward to LVG's press conference later on. How will he spin it? Ready for giggsy.

At this Point ill almost take anyone over LVG but i rather Blanc over Mourinho but right now they need to fire LVG and just let Giggs take over and finish the season

not sure. i honestly don't know a whole lot about his playing style or youth policy. why would he leave PSG, though?
