i was 7 yrs old and just starting to really understand my love for Soccer~ 3 years later on my 10th Birthday my grandpa Showed me what true love for a club is when i had my United Birthday party ( my mom wanted to kill him lol ) I miss that man... hard to belive its been 4 years since he passed... Mata was excellent most of the game. Glad he got the winner.
Side topic that I've been thinking about. If we get Mourinho, is it basically assured that Mata leaves? I don't like that at all.
also, i think i saw that this was the 4th youngest team united has ever fielded. average age 23 and some change with mata (27) being the oldest. pretty cool. granted a lot of that wasn't really by choice but still, something to be proud of.
fosu-mensah had some trouble today but it was his first start so i'll give him a pass.

That's the assumption...he did run him out of Chelski...Mata is my favorite player right now and has been for while...I'd be pissed if Mou comes in and unloads him...

I don't either and you know with Mourinho in charge Rashford, Borthwick Jackson, Mensah, and all the other young guys would have never come close to seeing the field.

Good match last night. First half was shaky but we settled in during the second. Even though it was 1-0 it was not boring. No chants for attack. Got a video of Mata's free kick. The section I was in wasn't that rowdy even though it was next to the Stretford End. That's the place to sit bc it's wild.
