not sure. i honestly don't know a whole lot about his playing style or youth policy. why would he leave PSG, though?

From what I read Blanc likes his Academy players 1st and will buy others to fit around what he cant get from them... i think he wants to leave PSG for a new start

I'm not sure about all the details, but the rumors around him just won't go away.

Main issue I see with Blanc is he just reupped on a new two-year deal with PSG last month. Seems a pretty strong statement of both his and the club's long-term intentions.

Well today is it lads

Ive tried to just not talk United the last few days after the other night.

If we don't win or coming out at least swinging, then LvG will 100% be gone the end of the season.

He got it all wrong Thursday. I don't even want to talk about those subs he made. What in the frick.

As someone who would love LVG to stay... I don't see how thats even an option..

I get letting him see out the season... But is there any part of the fanbase that want to give him more time??

Well we need more than a manager.

We need a director of football especially if we become like most clubs with a new manager ever 3 to 5 years. You need some stability there.

The issue is we have no idea who will come in. The fan base is split on Jose or not.

SCH do you think that even with a FA Cup win and Top 4 Finish LVG will be gone at Season end?

From Deadspin:

quote:

The best parts of the first half of this very weird Premier League season were most certainly Chelsea melting down and playing like dogpiss and also all the wacky hijinks José Mourinho got himself into. Now, according to El Pais (Sp.), our hero has signed a “pre-contract agreement” with Manchester United that guarantees he’ll become the manager this summer or they’ll have to pay him up to £15 million (over $21 million) as a “Whoops!” penalty.

This means we’ll probably get Pep Guardiola and José Mourinho back in their natural habitats (in a rivalry with each other). They are clear opposites, they don’t like each other, and I can’t wait for the fun to resume on English shores.

Which United star will Mourinho run out of town as a show of power, the same way he does with every club he arrives at? Smart money’s on Wayne Rooney.

As much as I loved him as a player, I'm just nervous about Giggs because he's relatively unproven as a manager and that he's been on this LvG staff. He may have been corrupted.

And I like Mou a good bit, even with the obvious negatives. His teams would compete for championships.

well, we can pretty much say bye to mata and at least one other probably if (when) he's appointed.

i get the apprehension about giggs and i have that too i just think he'd be better for the club long term.

You're probably right.

You just have to think that after all the struggles since SAF retired that the decision makers at the club want to win big right now, and Mou is one of the best out there for that... And he's wanted the job for a while.

Appointing Giggs might mean more of the same for the next few seasons. Or he might surprise us all.

Mou is the safest bet and a huge gamble at the same time because of his track record.

might not be a bad idea. at that point giggs will have learned under SAF, moyes ( ), LVG, and mourinho. If not mourinho he will have left and gotten his own experience as a first team manager.

This is why I'm not a big Mou fan...look at the match yesterday, who provided the perfect pass for the goal? Mata! I love that little dude and would hate to see him go...he's great on the ball and an even better creator.

As far as the Laurent Blanc rumors I'm cool with it as long as he brings
