Oops, you're right. I read the tweet as "Berba" for some reason. My mistake.

Kagawa played well. Gave more youth players a chance to get experience, showed some grit in coming back.

I missed the entire first half, slept in too late.

Wouldn't that be something if Bebe eventually justified the fee we paid.

Shanghai Shenhua is already in the middle of their season, so I think we'll need to step it up to get a result on Wednesday.

Wonder if we'll see Drogba.

EDIT: Drogba will reportedly make his Shenhua debut on Wednesday, and Anelka will be in action as well. Should be fun.

Watched some of the Capetown Ajax friendly. WSE, I think the most profitable club in the world can afford some camera crews and legit equipment? Looked like I was watching a Chilean league match from the 90s.

Although hilarious, I can't imagine you have ever seen a 90s Chilean league match, but if you have, a tip of the cap to you good sir.

I don't know who FSC was getting that feed from, but it was terrible. Commentators were extreme fanboys, too. Not a fan of that.

foxsports world use to show their league games in the late 90's early 2000's

I watched the match. The commentary was pretty bad. I couldn't understand a word of what that Paddy guy said. Man U played well at times and were easily the better side. Valencia was impressive to me. Will he start this year?

With the three wingers (Nani, Young, Valencia), I'd imagine that there would be a rotation.

thanks.

Where do you guys expect Kagawa to make an impact? I'm not very familiar with him. Will Giggs and Scholes see alot of time?

Do you guys actually like Carrick?

Kagawa would work best in a 4-1-2-1-2 formation, but he could settle as a central mid in the 4-4-2. Think of a more talented Anderson. Attacking mid who can do it all.

Carrick is good in spurts. I do not like him as a starter.

seems like you guys need a new one with Fletcher a BIG ? and Cleverley perhaps too young? IDK.

SAF rates him highly and thinks he will be a key figure this year in our quest to get our trophy back.

from what I saw he played as a traditional 4-4-2 CM. Looked strong too.
