The Daily Mirror is reporting that United and Sao Paulo have agreed to a 26 million pound deal for Moura. This does not include agent fees or personal terms.

Are we pro or anti glazers?

If we haven't decided, we need to come to a consensus.

For me,a lot will depend on what the Glazer's do with the proceeds from the IPO. If they use a high percentage to pay down debt I'll lean in the pro Glazer camp. However,if the funds are used otherwise I'll be in the anti Glazer camp.

interesting.

Wonder what the reasoning was, a quick google search leads me to believe the IPO is being delayed due to a lack in investor confidence.

Sounds like rubbish to me, when has a lack of investor confidence ever stopped an IPO from happening. Also, I don't think people buy stock in sport franchises to make money, it's more of a way to raise capital and give fans a chance to say "I own a piece of insert team"

I loved watching him at Dortmund. Was ecstatic when we got him.

Just watched the last 15 minutes and the highlights. Bebe was halfway decent. I was impressed with his willingness to use his left foot. He got the assist on Kagawa's goal and almost hooked up with Hernandez. Both left footed attempts.

Sounds like Moura is still pushing for the move.

quote:

Lucas Moura's agent says he has been instructed by the midfielder to "keep negotiating" with Manchester United, but the Brazil international would also be happy to stay at Sao Paulo.

United manager Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed on Monday that talks have been held regarding a deal for the 19-year-old.

Sao Paulo claim to have rejected a £25.6million offer from United and are holding out for £30m, with Moura's representative Wagner Ribeiro subsequently stating the Premier League club will not increase their bid.

Ribeiro also confirmed that he had no plans to hold talks with the Red Devils during a trip to England to watch Moura play for Brazil at the Olympics.

However, Ribeiro is keeping the door open regarding a move to Old Trafford after saying Moura is happy for talks with United to continue.

Ribeiro, though, also admitted that the highly-rated midfielder has no problem remaining with Sao Paulo, if the Brazilian club's demands are not met.

"The player is my boss, I always talk to him," Ribeiro told Radio Globo.

"He determines what I do, my objectives. If he says that he doesn't want to leave Sao Paulo, I won't even listen to the offer.

"He told me to keep negotiating when I talked about Manchester United's interest.

"It's a great offer. If it was an irrecusable one, he would leave, but he is happy at Sao Paulo too. If he stays there, life goes on."

The deal will get done in the next few days if it's going to get done at all. Sao Paulo owns 80% of Lucas now,but that drops to 70% on August 1st.

So, I don't feel like reading 10 pages of ManU stuff that hardly interests me, so can someone tell me how you guys are predicting the team to fare over the course of the season? Who are you excited about? What are your concerns? Can you beat the noisy neighbors?

I hope the pitch at Old Trafford is torn to shreds.
